About: phpComic-sql is a script that allows one to place current comic strips on to their Web site. Supported comic strips include User Friendly, Dilbert, Garfield, and many others. This version requires PHP and mySQL. Optional support for PHP- Nuke is also available. Changes: The comic database was updated, the documentation was tweaked, and a Regex parser function was added.

About: Bouncer is a network tool which allows you to bypass proxy restrictions and obtain outside connections from an internal LAN. It uses SSL tunneling, which allows you to obtain a constant streaming connection out of a proxy. If you are restricted behind a proxy and can access secure online ordering sites, then you can get out to whatever host on whatever port you want. It also supports a lot of other features including socks 5, basic authentication, access control lists, and Web-based administration, and will run on Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD. Changes: A minor bug that caused a failed connect to send the wrong response back when in Socks 5 mode was fixed.

Changes: This is a major update for Red Hat 7.2, but also includes initial HP-UX support. As this is the first development snapshot, please do be careful not to run this on a production system.

About: minit is an attempt to cross-breed DJ Bernstein's daemontools and init, while adding dependencies, and maintaining minimal code base. It is possible to start and stop services on the fly. minit does not depend on a mounted /proc file system, and it does not write to any part of the file system, not even to start and stop services. It does not use System V IPC, either. Changes: A fix for a bug that prevented minit from spawning a getty, svc produces usable return codes, a script "listpids" is included that shows how to list all running processes that are managed by minit, and a fix for the mechanism behind pidfilehack.

About: Fetchmail is a free, full-featured, robust, well-documented remote-mail retrieval and forwarding utility intended to be used over on-demand TCP/IP links (such as SLIP or PPP connections). It supports every remote-mail protocol now in use on the Internet: POP2, POP3, RPOP, APOP, KPOP, all flavors of IMAP, and ESMTP ETRN. It can even support IPv6 and IPSEC. Changes: The bug has been fixed where program_name was not filled in before it was used when the user ID had no PW entry, which would lead to (null) or crash when printing the error message. Signals are blocked during SockConnect() so there is no socket descriptor leak if it is hit by an alarm signal during connect(2). The queryname is set even when the server is inactive, which avoids a core dump bug in the fetchids code. Beside other small fixes, there are changes and fixes concerning qmail.
PCX Firewall 2.8 (Stable)
About: PCX Firewall is an IPTables firewalling solution that uses Perl to generate static shell scripts based upon the user's configuration settings. This allows the firewall to startup quickly, as it does not have to parse config files every time it starts. Changes: A generic /proc interface is now available (this lets you work with any entries under /proc/sys/net/ipv4 instead of just those for which methods were provided). Error checking has been improved in the generated shell scripts. The ability to use ip or ifconfig to determine dynamic IP Addresses has been added. There is now an rc.d/init.d script called iptables.pcx which will call the startfw and stopfw scripts for you.
TE Directory Listing Script 1.4
About: TEDLS is a simple and effective script for displaying a listing of files in a directory in a nice looking and customizable display, which can be embeded into your layout. The script is designed primarily for listing images, and can generate/use thumbnails. However, it can be easily used for listing any files you want. Changes: This release will display the number of files in the current directory and in all subdirectories. There is Windows server support and a couple of small bugfixes too.
