SEND-SCSI ********* make use of the generic SCSI-Driver. This short program allows you to send SCSI-command to any SCSI-device connected to a VAXstation or device connected to the KZQSA-Qbus-controller. This is useful to connect a foreign device to this bus. Then you can check, what it sends in response of a special SCSI-command. You can also lowlevel-format a disc-dirve, if this should be necessary. This can be done on the fly! Note: MKdriver and DKdriver from DEC (in VMS) has the IO$_DIAGNOSE command implemented, so you can use this program also with this drivers, not only with devices connected to the GKdriver. Note: Before using this program, read first VMS Version 5.3 Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) Device Support Manual. (ZK5369 ???) CARE: You can destroy data on a disk by using this program. You yourself are responsible if this happens (wrong device specified!). So, be careful when using it. Privileges used: You need DIAGNOSE and PHY_IO Privilege to use this program. In the subdirectory are some files with SCSI-Commands. Use them as template to construct your own files.
