It turns out that I had placed the root NEWS directory IN a rooted directory and used the root's logical name when defining the NEWS root. For example, something to the effect of: Assign dua0:[library.] Library Assign Library:[news.] News should be replaced with: Assign dua0:[library.news.] News Rand P.
