TPC:

   I had a nightmare that I could not make TPC tape copies of the VAX
distribution tape.  I woke up to find that the version of TPC, written
in Pascal, FORTRAN, and Macro-32, and included on the VAX86AB tape, did
not work out of the can.  However, the fix is just too simple:

1) Edit the source Pascal module TPC.PAS.
2) Search for the procedure CHECK_DEVICE and then the call to $GETDVIW
   inside it.
3) Change the arguement 'MS0:' to the variable DEVICE.
4) Recompile and relink.
5) Use it....

This worked GREAT at our site.
